So I started my work out again yesterday, and I made up a plan to work out 3 times a week , from Monday to Friday and as much as I can during weekend. So that means 4-5 times a week, depending what’s going on that week. Not every week is the same, but I will do my best.  I will also try to buy some lunch stuff tomorrow. In Sweden I used to make great couscous salad with Hallomi or something else for lunch the day before, I need to get back to that. I also need tips, what to make for dinner. The days we do work out, it’s hard to cook and eat before 9 pm, is that normal? I know that you ideally should eat around 7 pm, but that’s not possible if we come home by 7 and want to go to the gym. How do you  guys do?

Why is it so hard to get up in the mornings? I wake up last minute and look like crap every day. I tried to go to bed early, but I ended up reading blogs on my phone till midnight…FAIL! Anyway, yesterday I had some time to go by Mac cosmetics and I didn’t fine what I needed, but I found an eye cream that’s supposed to be good and two eye shadows. I wanted something that is neutral but still little shiny and a more glittery one for party’s.  Love Mac, probably my favorite cosmetic line.

This eye cream is suppose to have coffin in it. Let's see if it can make a difference.

Some sleep would be nice, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. I have a lot at work and no time for breathing and I have to finish all SWEA work this week, cause this is my last week as a SWEA board member, and it feels so good to only have one job and come home and not always have to think about doing more work.

I am having some friends over for Saturday and I have not even started to plan, but I feel like it will all work out in the end.  My hubbz is good at helping me so I am feeling good about it. Last night I had to come after work being a zombie, I looked like one and felt like one and somehow I managed to get to the gym, thanks to my BFF Hubby who motivates me to go to the gym. 

We came home and we are totally hooked on a new TV show called “Friday Night Lights” and it’s about a high school in Texas who has a football league called the Panters. An Amazing show, and we just finished the first season.  Can’t wait to start next season. 

So Vegas was fun, but totally overload, I loved it more when it was warmer and we could go to the pool all day, rather than the cold Vegas. I did see Tiesto and Avicii, two great DJ’s, but I think I am officially retiring from going out. I just can’t deal with it anymore. It’s been amazing, but I look forward turning 30 this year and start a new chapter in life. I want 2013 to be as amazing as 2012, but more emotionally stable. Me and Hubby are going to work out a plan for 2013 this weekend, to go through our goals and savings for this year. We want to buy an apartment and still be able to travel.  I have many New Years resolutions for 2013, not very big one, but just to have a more comfortable and happy life without much drama.

So I have not blogged for a while and it’s been crazy with my brother being here and a new job and some other things. My head is working harder than ever (trust me my poor brain has been on vacation for a long time). Work is going great and I love the people at the office, yesterday I met some new people at the office cause we had some kind of behavioral training and I met a lot of people from other departments.

Well I will try to be better at blogging cause I sure miss it. I can’t believe 2013 is coming in a couple of weeks. Looking back on 2012 it’s been a emotional rollercoaster. I mean I finally feel like I feel home here in US, but getting here has been a crazy ride and life has not been easy. But 2013 I have a different type of goal. I want to start living and stop worrying. My dad used to say: Don’t worry about the future, it comes soon enough. And I do worry a lot about everything all the time. My goal is to start living and smiling more and finding solutions that will make me happy and not worry so much.  Only hang out with people that makes me smile and gives me energy. 

Past weekend was a busy weekend and I don’t think we rested for 5 minutes, and by the time Monday was here I was more tired from the weekend. But I had a lot of fun going to my first Redskins game and winning the way we won made it all worth it. 

This weekend we have some plans already and some of them got cancelled, but my goal is to sleep in and relax a bit and then take everything as it comes. My brother is also leaving for Sweden.  But tomorrow is Thursday and my company is having its first Christmas party, somehow they are having three small parties and tomorrow is the first one and I look forward to eat some good food.

Of al days, this day had to be the coldest day of the week, but like all teachers used to say: There is no weather, only bad clothes (swedish saying).

Well, we do spend so much time at work and being at a work in a environment that you actually want to be in ,is a feeling I have not felt in a lonooooog time. I absolutely love to have my own office and it’s kind of cozi and you are aloud to play Christmas music hihi. Everyone has so much Chritmas decoration, I have not come that far yet, but I have some “Julstjärnor”.

I have had so much to do today and its going to be even more tomorrow. My work schedule is full and by January, they will expect me to roll by myself, so I have to put up my game. It’s already Thursday tomorrow and on Saturday I am going to my Hubby’s Christmas party and this year I might even recognize a face or two, so I am looking forward to that.  I think I am going to wear a dress I have worn many times this summer, but spice it up with a belt. 

Sunday is also an exciting day for me, cause I am finally going to an live Redskins game. So, when I moved here I knew nothing about American football and I still don’t know everything, but I have to say that I love it. I find it soooo exciting, well only the Redskins game so far, but I almost can’t watch cause I can’t take the pressure. Therefore, I am excited to see our team for the first time. I have to buy a hat or something red, cause my both shirts are made for the summer. 

Oki, its time for me to finish writing my Christmas cards, I am a little late this year, hopefully I will be able to send them out by tomorrow.

I really really needed a wallet and my brother was the best and got me a really nice one. I have been looking at the Marc Jacobs one forever, somehow it’s not what I am looking for and then I saw this one and the red part made me fall in love. I love small details that stand out and I also didn’t want the zipper and more of an old school model so I am very happy I found this one. Now I just need to complete it with a Michael Kors purse that I want and it is perfect for the everyday use. 

Now I can shop with a smile :)

 

Today was our monthly Book club meeting and since it was my book I chose the place and had to choose Raku, my favorite restaurant in my area and the best sushi ever. And the book we read was called: Before I fall by Lauren Oliver. I saw a friend of mine reading it and she gave it great review and I got really interested. I really liked the book, even though its base from American high school. It’s about a girl who relived the day of her car crash and a lot about bullying. I think every high school should read this book, just to remind kids how mean they can be to each other and that it doesn’t have to be that way. What we do or say can impact so many different people in so many ways.


I am very excited for our next book.
